Greg Miller's passions extend beyond the basketball court. One of them includes traveling the globe.

The Utah Jazz CEO recently completed a 58,196-mile journey, titled Expeditions 7, that spanned three years and covered all seven continents.

“I embarked on Expeditions 7 with the goal of driving the same Land Cruiser on every continent and a mission to inspire others to travel and open their eyes to the world, even if it’s in their own backyard,” Miller said in a news release that detailed the expedition. “Three years later, I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge, life lessons and learned that the journey is more fun when you are able to share it with others.”

Miller, who serves as CEO of the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies, began the journey in April 2012 and spent a total of 218 days on the expedition that traversed North America, Iceland/Europe, Russia/Siberia, Australia, Africa, Antarctica and South America. According to the release, 47 people joined Miller at various points on his journey, including family, friends and others he met in his travels.

A total of five vehicles were used on his Expeditions 7 journey, initially including a pair of 78 series Land Cruisers special-ordered from Toyota. At various points, other Land Cruisers joined the trip.

Four of the five vehicles used on the expedition arrived at the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele on Friday and will be on permanent display there, where they will be used for educational purposes.
